Validating the credit behaviour for tier 1 college students in India

What is it about?
We wanted to experiment if FamPay's most valuable 1% user base would be interested in getting a credit, which they can then spend using any of the payment instruments they have like UPI. Since the users that we were looking into would not have a credit history, this would be the first credit product they are engaging with. We wanted to give a very premium experience, since these are our most valuable users.
I was the sole designer in the pod that was delegated to ship the product from the scratch.
NUX for credit
We wanted to be very transparent about the terms of the credit to the users, and since its highly probable this would be the first of a kind credit product, we tried to over communicate all the information at multiple touch points, especially in the onboarding.

Fetching college details
We decided to give credit to only Tier 1 college students, and since this is a limited experiment we wanted to manually check the user details before giving the credit.
Fetching verification documents from the user
Credit activation
Once we approve the request, users would see a touch point in the home and they can access the dedicated credit section where they can consume all the necessary info like credit balance, bills, transactions and more
